The construction industry in Italy is growing thanks to the ecobonus

Since the beginning of the economic downturn, the construction industry has been losing thousand of companies and over 500,000 workers. The tax credit for restorations and energy saving (the so called "ecobonus") was an extraordinary countercyclical measure.
According to Ermete Realacci, President of the Environment Commission in the Italian Government, "in 2014 it generated 28,5 billion investments and 425,000 workplaces among employees and satellite activities, this way it qualified the trade entrepreneurial system, reduced energy consumption, pollution and families' bills".
The success it had from 2008 to 2015 resulted in the consensus in the Italian Parliament to confirm and enlarge such measure to other parties too: social construction (i.e. sport facilities and swimming pools), private houses and businesses.
